Louth Races Camping & Other Facilities

@ Louth Racecourse

Camping facilities are available at Louth racecourse at a cost of $10 per person / per night for campers who arrive prior to Friday. However, there is no charge for camping at this location on the Friday and Saturday nights. Facilities include some firewood, toilets and a couple of showers. We encourage everyone to BYO firewood as the committee can only stretch themselves so far with jobs, which include carting firewood.

Alternative Free Camping

You may camp for free under the wing of your aeroplane at the airstrip (some firewood provided), or set up your swag in the designated area on the banks of the Darling River adjacent to the village (no facilities provided but showers/toilets are in the park across from Shindy's Inn).
